This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a significant project while working alongside a high-performing projects team. The Superintendent will be responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of operational, maintenance, shutdown, and project activities across site. The role provides strategic leadership to project teams ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to Supervisors, Coordinators, Planners, Leading Hands, and site personnel. Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example. Develop workforce capability through coaching, training, and performance team. Conduct regular team meetings, toolbox talks, and performance reviews. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Lead the planning and execution of maintenance, shutdown, construction, and project activities. Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client requirements. Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to optimise productivity. Oversee work scheduling and resource allocation to meet project milestones. Ensure effective communication between operations, planning, engineering, procurement, and client representatives. Manage shutdown planning, execution, and close-out activities. Monitor progress throughout shutdowns and implement recovery plans where required. Lead daily coordination meetings during shutdown execution. Ensure accurate reporting and completion documentation. …
